Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

The Environmental Impact Assessment Law N.127(I)/2018 requires the preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or the preparation of an Information Report for new projects or the expansion or renovation of existing developments, depending on the type and activities of the project. The EIA and the Information report are issued and submitted to the Department of Environment. The department will assess the proposed project and their conclusions will be used for the decision on the Urban Planning Permit.
